The OBIE Awards began in 1980. They recognize outstanding achievements in the home building industry. The program runs each year by the GAHBA Sales and Marketing Council. The program has grown to include more than 100 buildings. For instance remodeling, marketing, and personal achievement categories.
The Omni Hotel in Downtown Atlanta was packed with builders. Mostly from the Greater Atlanta Home Builder Association. The Chafin brothers triumphed. Taking home many Gold and Silver awards. All in categories for best homes in $199,000 and under. Next for $200,000 to $299,900. Finally winning for $300,000 to $400,000.
They are in recognition for quality construction, design innovation, warranty, and industry achievements.
