Kitchen Options to Choose

Chafin now offers three different ways to build a kitchen in the majority of our floor plans. The ability to choose which kitchen layout is only possible with a pre-sale home.

(If we could offer this choice to every buyer in every home we would, but the electrical and gas go in different locations for each layout and those items have to be installed very early in the building cycle.)

The THREE different layout options are:

The Traditional Kitchen, the Designer Kitchen, and the Gourmet Kitchen.  

The different types of kitchen options shown here ONLY affect the type of stove, wall oven(s), microwave, and vent hood.  The rest of the kitchen layouts are unique per plan in regards to the size and locations of pantry, islands, dishwasher, sinks, etc. Each design also has it’s own affordability and can only be chosen when you purchase a pre-sale home.  

All of these photos below have many other upgrades that are extra and can be customized to how you want, please see the onsite agent for details.  This includes things like: the color of the cabinets, the cabinet hardware, the type of countertops, waterfall islands, the type of backsplash and more.

If you have a floor plan you love but do not see the kitchen option you want online here, please ask the onsite agent if your plan does have this option.

The Traditional Kitchen

Microwave is built into a cabinet above the range

The Designer Kitchen

30″ with a five burner cooktop

Separate slide under oven

Microwave is built into a cabinet above the range with a vent hood built in it  

The Gourmet Kitchen

36″ Five burner cooktop

A single or double wall oven built into wall cabinets

Microwave built in over the the wall oven(s)

Either a chimney style stainless steal vent hood with no cabinets above the cooktop OR a vent hood built into the cabinet above the cooktop

In the Gourmet Kitchen you can choose how many wall ovens and which type of vent hood you want.

When can you choose each layout option?

• The layouts can only be chosen when you purchase a pre-sale home. 
• If the home has been started, we usually cannot change it to another layout option.

Can you choose the cooktop type gas or electric?

• The cooktop or stove top will be gas or electric based on the community.

Can you choose the type of vent hood in the Gourmet kitchen?

• Yes, you can choose either the under cabinet vent hood or the stainless steel chimney style vent hood

Does every floor plan offer every kitchen layout shown here?

• Every plan has the traditional kitchen layout, but not every plan offers the designer or gourmet kitchens

Does every Chafin community/neighborhood offer every kitchen layout shown here?

• Every community offers  the traditional kitchen layout, but not every community  offers the designer or gourmet kitchens, please ask the onsite agent for more details

Can you choose single or double wall ovens in the Gourmet kitchen?

• Yes, you can choose either a single wall oven or a double wall oven
