We love mudrooms, also called “drop zones”, so much we have added them to most of our plans.
These spaces are usually between the garage and the kitchen and are ideal for keeping the daily clutter at bay. Â Book bags, purses and coats can be quickly hung, add baskets for storage, add a key hanger to the wall…but no more dirty shoes traipsing through your home and all right where you come and go.
