2021 OBIE Awards Sweep For Chafin Communities

OBIE Awards are presented each year by the GAHBA’s Sales and Marketing Council. The OBIE Awards began in 1980 to recognize outstanding achievement in the home building industry.  Since then, the program has grown. It now includes more than 100 building, remodeling, marketing, and personal achievement categories.

On October 23, 2021, Chafin Communities stepped into the ring with several qualified and reputable builders for a chance to win in building excellence. The Chafin brothers, Eric and Daryl, were honored to walk away with seven coveted OBIES in eight entered categories. Two Golds and five Silver awards were carried away with pride for Mundy Mill, Mallards Landing, Stonewater Creek, Lancaster, and Andover Manor.

We would like to thank the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association for the recognition. A big thank you also goes out to our entire staff at Chafin Communities for all the hard work you put in daily. Know that it is recognized and greatly appreciated.

Single Family Builder-Detached (Builds 100+ Homes Per Year):

$299,999 and under, Linden Park West at Mundy Mill, Silver Award 

$300,000 to $399,999, Mallard’s Landing, Silver Award 

$400,000 to $499,999, Stonewater Creek, Silver Award

$500,000 to $599,999, Stonewater Creek, Gold and Silver Award

Best Building Design-Detached Model:

$300,000 to $399,999, Lancaster, Gold Award

$300,000 to $399,999, Andover Manor, Silver Award
